We announce the passing of ANTHONY (Tony) SPITERI, PhD (Philosophy), in Marsascala, son of Carmel (d.2011) and Josephine, née Gauci. beloved brother of Vivienne (France) and Tessa (d. 2011).

He leaves Poppy, C. Spiteri, M. Doylend, Allan Gauci, esteemed colleagues Peter Cassar Torregiani, Brother Dustan (Washington), friends, students, cousins, aunts and uncles, nephews and nieces.

Funeral mass will take place at St Anne parish church, Marsascala, on Wednesday, April 22, at 8.30am followed by burial in the Spiteri family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

We mourn the loss of Tony, a superior intellect, who had the generosity of a sunflower, and the subtle kindness of a smile.
