On January 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, SILVIO PARNIS, of Paola, residing in Tarxien, aged 57, former Labour Party Member of Parliament, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Dorianne, his son Jacob, his mother Doris, his brothers Raymond and his wife Janica, Christopher and his wife Bessie, his sister Michelle and her husband Jethro, his father-in-law Pawlu, in-laws Roderick, Anthony and his partner Noelene, nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. 

The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, January 6, at 7.45am, for Christ the King Basilica, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
