On May 3, ALEXANDER (Sandro) VELLA, of Birkirkara, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. 

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Alma, his daughters Joanna and Christine and her husband Neil, his beloved grandsons Kurt and Carlos, his sister Marciel, widow of Joseph, his brothers Stephen and his wife Martha, Maurice and his wife Carol, Martin and his wife Anita and Pierre, his in-laws Adrian and his partner Michaela, Alfred and his wife Carol, Albert and his wife Vivienne, Andrew and his wife Caroline, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, May 6, at 9.30am, for St Francis of Assisi church, Ta’ Paris, Birkirkara, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. 

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.
