On July 20, ROSE SAPIANO, widow of Alfred, aged 88, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She will always be loved and remembered by her son Georg and his wife Audrey, her grandsons Luigi, Francesco and Beppe, her sister Maureen, widow of Lino German, and Marthese, widow of her brother Francis Flynn, Georg’s in-laws John and Angela Ellul, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, July 24, for Stella Maris parish church where Mass to celebrate her life will be held at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and care shown by the carers at Casa Antonia, Balzan.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
