On February 2nd, at Mater Dei Hospital, Rita Cauchi, née Debono, aged 90, of Mellieha, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Anthony, her children Mary Joan, Thérèse, Emanuel, Joseph widower of Alexandra, Christine and her husband Tarcisio, Maria and her husband Martin, Jimmy and his wife Mary, Charles and his wife Giovanna, Lucy and her husband Emanuel, Victoria and her husband Emanuel, Alfred and his wife Marlene, Monica and her husband Victor, Geoffrey and his wife Olivia, her 24 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, her Sister Rena Debono of the Order of the Sacred Heart, her brother-in-law Carmelo, other relatives and friends.
