On March 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, PIJU SCERRI aged 81, passed peacefully away, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of the Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife Pauline, his son Christian and his wife Josianne, his daughters Antoinette and her husband Marco Costa, Catherine and her husband Jesmond Sharples, his sons Joseph and his wife Gisele, Frank and his wife Helene, and his daughter Marthese and her husband Kevin Borda, his brother Fr Mario Scerri MSSP, his sisters Rose and Polly, and Frances wife of his late brother Ġużi,  his grandsons and granddaughters, Matthew and his wife Beverley and their children Ilaria, Carla and Giuliana, Stefan and his fiancée Chanelle, Ian and his wife Veronica, Karl, Luke and Martha, Bernard and his fiancée Leanne, Danielle and her fiancé Adam, Edel, Aaron, Mark, Andrew, Jonathan, Corinne and Julian, and his beloved nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
