PHYLLIS VELLA, née Grech, aged 95, passed away peacefully on July 20 at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She will be forever loved and cherished by her beloved husband Joseph, her daughter Sandra and her husband Pasquale, her son Pierre and his wife Roberta, her grandchildren Lara, Rachel, Daniel and Abigail, her great-grandchildren, her sister Mary, her brother William, her nephews and nieces, especially Caroline, her in-laws, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, July 28, at 8.15am. Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am at St Mary’s parish church, Attard, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request, but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff at Ivy Ward at Porziuncola Home and SAU2 ward at Mater Dei Hospital for their dedicated care and kindness.
