On May 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, LEA MICALLEF née Cortis, aged 73, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by her family.

She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her husband Eric, her children Roberto and his wife Monique and Andrea and his wife Alexandra, her adored grandchildren Tina, Gigi, Max and Ana; her sister Tecla and her husband Roland Cuschieri; her in-laws; nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, May 14 at 1.15pm for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be appreciated.

May the Almighty grant her eternal rest.
