On February 8, at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, JOE BORG, former Mayor of Mellieħa, aged 81, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his children Janet and Edwin, Christina and Edgar, Pauline and Ronald, Mark and Ritianne, his grandchildren Sarah and Andrea, Luke, Mattei, Beppe and their fiancées, Ganni, Katarina, Miguel and Gabriele, his brothers Charlie, Chris and Ninu, Maria widower of his brother Jimmy, his in-laws and their respective families, other relatives and friends. 

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, February 11, at 2.30pm, for Marija Bambina parish church, Mellieħa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the grave of La Vittoria Band Club at Sultana tal-Vittorji Cemetery, Mellieħa.

No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Kleru, Birkirkara, and Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be appreciated.
