On December 29, at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea, UK, GEORGE MANGION, of Siġġiewi, former civil servant at the health department, aged 68, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church and surrounded by his loving family.

He will be deeply missed and never forgotten by his beloved wife Cecilia, his only son Andrea and his wife Eleanor, and her daughter Emily; his brother Mario and Maryrose, Joseph and Joanna, Carmen, Maryrose, widow of his brother Angelo, his wife’s respective families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, January 15, at 3pm, for St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi, where mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Siġġiewi cemetery.
