On June 7, DOROTHY SIMMS (former former chairperson and managing director, Fogg Insurance Agency), who passed peacefully at St James Hospital, Sliema.

She will be fondly remembered and missed by all who knew her, cared for her and loved her. Heartfelt gratitude is extended to her devoted carers, whose love, kindness, dignity and compassion enriched her later years. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at St James Hospital for their care and support.

A very special and sincere thank you to her consultant, for his dedication, kindness and compassionate care over these last 16 years. His support and guidance will be remembered with deep gratitude.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, June 12, for St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 10.30am.

Private burial will be taking place in the UK.

Instead of flowers donations are to be made to Hospice Malta, Santa Venera, and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest.
