On October 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, CYNTHIA VELLA of St Julian’s and residing in Attard, aged 72, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Anthony (Tony), her son Mark and his wife Annalisa Ferriggi, her daughter Angele and her husband Andrew Sammut, her beloved grandchildren Andrea and James, her brother James Edward Lentini and his wife Svetlana, her sister Irene and her husband Jeffrey Schembri, her in-laws Sr Pasqualina O.D., Rita and her husband Frans Spina, Grace, widow of John Vella Bondin, Susima, widow of Ernest Vella, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, at 8.30am for St Julian’s parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Marija Addolorata Cemetery.

Lord, grant her eternal rest.
