On Sunday, September 1, at her residence in Marsaxlokk, CAROLINE CHETCUTI, née DeBono, passed away peacefully, aged 90, surrounded by her beloved family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her beloved husband Joseph, her cherished children Marie, Sandra, Claire and her husband Sergio Volpini, Stephen and his wife Nicola, Vicky and her husband Pierre Zammit, her beloved grandchildren Luca, Elena and her fiancé Edoardo, Amy Katryn and Thomas; her sisters Sr Consuelo DeBono, Mariella, widow of Paul Mercieca, Lewis, widower of Margaret, Miriam and her husband Emanuel Chetcuti, her nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, September 3, at 2.45pm for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun.

No flowers by request but donations to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be appreciated.
