On July 11, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEL MERCIECA of Żejtun, passed away peacefully at the age of 82, comforted by the rites of Holy Church.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Antonia, his children Claire and her partner Claudio Martinelli, and Mark and his wife Mary, his grandchildren Kyle and Maya, his sister Grace and his brother Anthony, his sisters-in-law, all their families, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday, July 15, for St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory Cemetery, Żejtun.
