On July 10, ANTHONY CARUANA, aged 97, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church, to be reunited with his beloved wife and soulmate, Cettina.

He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Josephine and her husband Peter Mayo, Sylvia, widow of Vincent Muscat, and Maurice and his wife Carmen. He is also mourned by his six grandchildren Roberta, Annemarie, Lorraine, Cecilia, Andrew and Erica and their respective spouses, and his five great-grandchildren Michael, Fabio, Evelyn, Luca and Mattia, his three sisters and their families, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

The funeral cortège leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence on Tuesday, July 14, at 9.30am, for Christ the King Basilica, Paola, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 10am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.

The family would like to thank all the staff at St Vincent de Paul Residence and at Karen Grech Hospital for their care and dedication during these past months.
