It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of ALFRED ABELA, aged 88, surrounded by the love of his family.

Alfred leaves behind his children, Dr Harold and his wife Mariella, Brian and his wife Johane, Kenneth and his wife Sharon, and Claire and her husband Kenneth, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him immensely.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather whose warmth, wisdom and affection touched all who knew him.

Alfred will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his kindness, his jovial spirit, and the love he shared throughout his life. While we mourn his loss, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the enduring legacy of love, strength, and family values he passed on to future generations.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Friday, June 26, at 7.45am, for Iklin parish church, where Mass for the repose of his soul will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by burial in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.

No flowers by request but donations to Inspire Malta foundation would be appreciated.
