On May 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, AGNESE SAMMUTnée Gauci, widow of Grezzju, residing in Qawra, St Paul’s Bay, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church, aged 91.

She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Joyce widow of Albert Sammut of Queensland Australia, Charlie and his wife Sylvia, Doris and her husband Paul Sammut, Marianne and her husband Joe Vassallo, Silvio and his wife Rita, her 17 grandchildren among whom  Fr Colin Sammut OFM Conv., her 17 great grandchildren and their families, her sisters Tessie, Victoria, Grace widow of her brother Tony, her in-law Carmelo and his wife Connie her nephews and nieces, other relatives and numerous friends.
